(rubber pipe to top of DPF guides you to component) 5 mins to change. 3,Change MAP sensor 5 mins (even though it may look ok)for good measure.

The EGR System is made up of more than just the EGR Cooler, then there is the Feed Line, Inlet Manifold, Swirl Flaps and Inlet Valves that get Carboned up as well. Cooler is only This necessitated the replacement of the entire EGR cooler assembly, which includes an EGR anyway. Apparently the EGR valve itself was not at fault. Apparently this part is only supplied by BMW, too - at a price of ~拢500. Fortunately for me, the installation was fairly simple so the entire job wasn't that much more painful.
